-          All contact is digital/voice, no agreement is made for me to visit your set or location

-          Phone calls in Australia can be done through landline or mobile. International calls will be done through VOIP

-          The eight week plan is up to you to follow. If you fail to complete the eight weeks as outlined, and you wish to have further mentoring, a fee will be incurred for additional mentoring time

-          Your script is copyrighted to you, as well as your resulting film.

-          The eight week session begins the first Sunday after payment is made and ends on the eighth Saturday after payment is made.

-          No conditional guarantee is made for the quality of your film, as that aspect is dependant entirely on your passion to filmmaking and your ability as a filmmaker.

-          If you choose to use another software package to edit your film, as much help as within reason will be provided. However, we do recommend you use the software we provide you as our learning materials are based on these packages.

            On the back of successfully producing and screening my own short films and features, I have taught filmmaking in both the United States and Australia. My personal edge is that I am a working filmmaker, not a theoretical filmmaker that suggests going out and buying all the top gear and hiring all the right people.             I bring to your script ten years of making festival winning short films, three feature films, a cutting edge book on independent filmmaking and six years of teaching independent filmmaking at a variety of educational institutions. I can take your script from where it’s at, to where you can make it. That’s not where I stop though.

            There is no point in having an amazing script without essential backup knowledge need to how to make it take it to the screen. More than just the industry standard line of encouragement to “read this book” or even “watch this film”, I’ll provide active and focused support on how to coach actors, how to shoot the scene, editing suggestions and finally the all important “what do I do with this film now?” question. You’ll have your own private mentor through the entire process.
